St. Mary’s County is developing a new Land Preservation, Parks, and Recreation Plan (LPPRP) to guide future decisions for parks, recreation programs, facilities, and natural areas.

Your input will help identify needs, set priorities, and shape practical, community-driven recommendations.

Input about non-sports activities (such as The Arts!) is also essential to future planning purposes! This is your opportunity to be heard if you want to see more arts-focused events, public art programs and activities, musical and other artistic performances, etc.!

This site provides several ways to participate, including an interactive map, ideas wall, budget prioritization tool, and survey. Input collected here will be combined with data analysis, stakeholder input, and a statistically valid survey to support informed planning decisions.
