St. Mary’s County Arts Council (SMCAC) is a sub-granting organization, receiving funding from the state via the Maryland State Arts Council, to re-grant for community events, public art projects, local school art programing, high school scholarships, and more!
Our Gallery & Gift Shop is lcated in the heart of Downtown Leonardtown. Stop by to shop and attend one of our special events!
Our community gallery partnerships include the St. Mary’s County libraries, MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, Port of Leonardtown Winery, and St. Mary’s Caring Soup Kitchen. In collaboration with SMCAC, these locations provide on-site gallery spaces featuring rotating art shows and exhibitions.
