The Arts are beneficial to our county on many levels. Events, music, dance, and visual art in our community improve the quality of life for our residents and provide another reason to visit St. Mary's County.

Re-Granting & Sponsorships

Provide re-granting and sponsorships to local non-profit arts organizations. These funds help sustain programs, events, and initiatives that enrich our community.

Fund programs within the Leonardtown Arts & Entertainment District. These programs bring art to public spaces, support local artists, and make the arts accessible to all.

Public Art

Help bring public art to life in our community. These installations transform everyday spaces into vibrant, creative landmarks that spark conversation and celebrate local culture.

Local Gallery Spaces

Maintain local gallery spaces in our office gallery, libraries, and other community locations. These spaces provide artists with economic opportunities to showcase their work and engage the public.
