Artwork Guidelines:

• Up to two submissions allowed per artist. Artist must be a resident of St. Mary’s, Calvert, or Charles County.

• Art may be of any medium.

• Art must not exceed 4” in any direction.

• Canvas pieces do not need to be framed. All sides of unframed canvas pieces must be painted.

• Sculpture pieces must be able to stand alone, or a suitable display system must be provided.

• Artists of all ages are encouraged to participate. The submission form must be signed by a parent/guardian if the artist is under the age of 18.

• ALL art must be of a family-friendly nature suitable for all audiences.

• Elsewise Art and St. Mary’s County Arts Council reserve the right to accept or decline submissions per their discretion.

• An image of your art is required for the submission form. Submission grants permission for the SMC Arts Council and Elsewise Art to use the image for marketing and promotional purposes.

• All submissions must be made online via the artist application form.

Payment Schedule:
This show falls in our Fourth Quarter Payment Schedule. Payment for any pieces sold during this show will be processed by January 15, 2026. A mailing address and phone number are required for check processing.

The gallery commission is 30% of the sale price. The artist will receive 70%.

St. Mary’s County Arts Council will handle the processing of sales tax collected at the time of purchase.
